What Is This All About?

You and your child’s mother haven’t been getting along lately and just can’t agree on how often you should see your kid.


Out of nowhere, the Sheriff is at your door serving you with a Temporary Restraining Order.  Can you call her?  Can you see your kid?  Can she do this to you?  Is this like TV?

You’re Not Taking the Kids

It is the 1st Friday of the month, and according to the custody order, you get visitation this weekend.  However, your spiteful Ex says that you don’t get them this weekend.


Isn’t this illegal?  Are you supposed to call the police?  You know this isn’t right, but what can you do?

Alternative to a divorce?

First off, what is an annulment?  In Texas, an annulment is an Order from the Court stating a marriage never existed.


Now, before you get too excited, you have to know that annulments are notoriously hard to get in Texas.  There are strict requirements that you must prove first to avoid a divorce.

You and your infant child are out shopping, and she starts getting cranky.  Yep, she’s hungry.  As you begin breast-feeding her, an employee approaches you and tells you to stop.
